still feeling very tired and hospital appointments, as I had previously thought, have not stopped as I am going in again today. still, had a lovely few days with my sister and we painted out little hearts out together producing these collaborative paintings. had a lovely time and it was a fitting end to what has been a hard year
A Visual Journal
I have now a permanent space to work in albeit not as light and spacious as I would have liked but it is somewhere to get messy and leave things out which is a joy to contemplate. On the boat front the search continues for 'the' boat for UK coastal sailing then to sail on to the med via Figueira da Foz where we have a house. Now adjusting to a new start. Betty and I are very excited, Tin Tin the one eyed aged cat and the hens appear more than a little indifferent.
sailing over for another season
RA will come out of the water in the next few weeks. Really enjoyed sailing the Bottom's Cup series with my friend Kate crewing. It looks like we were 2 points from coming first! So near and yet so far. Had a lovely sail from Dartmouth on a Southerly 32 Tuesday, beautiful day and so warm for November, light airs but still a lovely day on the water. The boat had an amazing 10 inch chart plotter that I couldn't takes my hands off which would guide you anywhere safely as long as you had entered your draught correctly!
trial at an end...
the trial for me is at an end. 14 treatments out of 17 is fairly good. Blood pressure problems indicated best to stop while ahead. I feel better already and looking forward to weaning myself off hypertension tablets and taking up running again. I am hoping to get a studio together over the next couple of weeks to start painting again with all the time I shall have from not having to attend the lengthy and regular hospital appointments.
Looking forward to not feeling tired all the time.....
